haha! you create them from scratch--there are pre-defined facial features--face shape, eyes, eyebrows, wrinkle lines, etc. not hard but hard to make them look perfect :)
you have to take pics of the tv screen, and try not to get scan lines over the miis when you take the pic, etc. just time consuming, really

Those are so cool! How hard are they to make? it sounds like it's more of a job posting them on here than creating the characters.
